All the charm of Italy
Fashion is obviously crossed by major international currents that, on both sides of the Atlantic, mingle and enrich each other. But the fact remains that the essence of fashion is often made up of national particularities. Thus, France has marked the fashion history of some great signatures - Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent - and does not have to blush for its creators of yesterday and today. There are scarcely two countries which can compete with Europe in this field: England and Italy. And it is precisely here that ChemiseWeb draws much of its inspiration. If England evokes the traditional elegance of a British touch of humor, Italy invites the Dolce Vita, the incomparable charm of a way of being, once so well incarnated on the screen by Claudia Cardinale And Sophia Loren, Vittorio Gassman and Marcello Mastroianni. Because in Italy more than elsewhere, we take fashion seriously. It is only to wander through the streets of a large Italian city to be convinced. That's why we wished to decline the Italian fashion shirt. This involves the use of Neapolitan wrists and Italian collars. This also requires a certain audacity in the choice of fabrics: colors, patterns and materials are carefully selected. Our model Borsalino with its striped fabric and Neapolitan wrists is the most telling example.
A tribute to the Dolce Vita
To name a Borsalino shirt is to pay a tribute to Italian fashion. The Borsalino is indeed the emblematic hat of Italy. It is a felt hat invented in 1857 by Guiseppe Borsalino and made since then in the Piedmontese city of Alessandria. And it is also the first unisex model of the history of the headgear! But in order for the tribute to be successful, it is still necessary that it is more than a wink and that it respects not only the state of mind of the great Italian brands but also their taste for the " Excellency.
