What do we mean when we talk about luxury shirts or high-end shirts?

This is a question we will try to answer. The first thing to know is that a luxury shirt is defined first and foremost by its quality and not by its price. This should be obvious, but yet many consumers still think that very expansive products are necessarily high-end products. Unfortunately, this is very rarely the case. To understand this, one must understand the economics of fashion. When you buy a branded shirt, you pay a lot more than the price of manufacturing the shirt and the margin of the brand that designed it. You pay, among others, for the advertising budget of this brand and you pay the margin of the dealer which can amount to more than 50%. This is why a high price is unfortunately not a guarantee of quality. Once this is established, it remains to define what makes a shirt can be considered a luxury shir

the Fabric:

The quality of the fabric in which your shirt is shaped will define not only its beauty but also its longevity. First, a luxury shirt will necessarily be built in a 100% cotton fabric. Note that Egyptian cotton is one of the most famous and is therefore frequently used in the manufacture of luxury shirts. Then you have to look at the titration of the thread. This titration or number gives you an indication of the quality of the fabric. The higher the titration, the better the quality. A luxury shirt will be fashioned in a fabric whose thread will have a titration greater than or equal to 100. But beware, beyond 120, the fabric will be thicker and the shirt will be more difficult to iron and crease more easily. Finally, the type of thread used also makes it possible to define a luxury shirt. There are three main types of yarn: single, double or triple twisted. Single wire is the most common. The double twist is composed of two single threads that have been twisted together, and the triple twists, of three threads. This type of spinning makes the yarn softer but also more resistant since it increases the diameter of the yarn. A double twisted shirt will therefore have a better longevity than a single-threaded shirt.

The cup:

The quality of the cut is also essential. Indeed, whatever the beauty of a shirt, it can not be considered luxurious if it is badly cut. The quality of the finishes is also to be taken into account, because luxury is also a matter of details. Mother-of-pearl buttons, neat stitching and a perfect fit are elements that can characterize a luxury shirt.

At Webmenshirts.com we make a point of making only quality shirts. And we also have some models of luxury shirts in the catalog. Unlike luxurious shirts that may be offered by the competition, our products are sold at much lower prices for the simple reason that we reduce all the intermediaries that are between the producer (us) and the consumer (you) . That's why our luxury shirts are sold at the right price. At Webmenshrits you pay for quality, not for advertising!
