Finally, the type of thread used also makes it possible to define a luxury shirt. There are three main types of yarn: single, double or triple twisted. Single wire is the most common. The double twist is composed of two single threads that have been twisted together, and the triple twists, of three threads. This type of spinning makes the yarn softer but also more resistant since it increases the diameter of the yarn. A double twisted shirt will therefore have a better longevity than a single-threaded shirt.
